Roller Team, any good? Seen one local on someones drive with less than 6000 on the clock, 2011 plate and is a lot cheaper than dealer prices. Fors and against. Drive quality?

Roller Team are a Trigano brand. mid range as to quality from what I can tell.

Channa

We’ve got one, I’m away in California so have messaged Martin to comment. What model are you looking at? Ours is a 695. One of the problems we’ve had is getting a dealership to service it as we didn’t buy it from them. The parts, for the habitation bit, have to come from Italy which can be a protracted exercise, the transit bit gets done by Ford. As it’s an older one you may not be bothered about all that.

It's the 600 model.

Are you aware that Transits from that era are being stolen at an alarming rate at they are easy to steal.

If you decide to buy you are going to have to invest in some decent security. You can change the drivers side door lock and diesel tank lock which will stop them making keys to drive them away. Decent wheel clamp as steering wheel locks can be removed, I did notice that Comfort Insurance now ask if it’s a Ford based MH so it may not be long before they start pushing up the premiums or asking for extra security like monitored trackers and alarms which all add to the expense of owning one.

As you are now aware of the theft risk you may decide it’s not worth the agro even if it is cheap.

Don’t forget the usual damp checks and make sure it’s up to date with whatever guarantees it may have.

Don't do it :scared:[/QUOTE

I'll give you £50k for that thing you've got Charlie, would offer more but the cleaning bill will be considerable. Oh, I will throw the offensive external screens in too.

No, no, you don't have to thank me.

Roller team

We have a Ford on a 695 had it 4plus yrs and still have it have not put any other security or tracker ,it all depends where you park up and leave it.
