Yes very much so. Although there have been a number of teething troubles sorted under warranty as I am afraid is usually the case with most new vans. The living area of the 590 is more generous than that in the longer models of the Pegaso, including the one in Paul Morton’s Programe. As far as I know, or it was so when I bought it, it is the only A Class built with doors on the correct side for the UK.
Both Bill (Fisherman) and I had a problem with ill fitting habitation doors which Roller Team replaced under warranty, but this years model has a better and wider door. The cost of so much living space in a 6m van is having to use a drop down bed (too much faff to use the lower one). It’s no smaller than is normal in other vans. Ok for us, but if you are a ‘large person’ you may want to look carefully at this.
I can confirm that the manufactures claimed payload, which is generous for an 3500kg A-class is quite correct, I insisted on seeing it on a weighbridge before parting with money. However don’t believe this is a four person van. It’s comfortable for two. But for regular use for four people you would need to plate back up to 4650kg…no problem as that is what it is built for and is shown on the manufactures plate…they have simply down rated it for the elderly UK market.
