yes theres lots of interesting places in that area theres whitby. north yorkshire moors heart beat country . scarborough . filey . it depends what your looking for and what interests you have.

I believe the local Inn allows overnighters,(The Fylingdale Hotel) or the village carpark is ok for a small fee.
