RMY britannia ..wild camping ?

she who must be obeyed has decided on a visit to the above when we are next in the uk

there is a large parking area near the docks in Leith ; anyone know if this is any good for motorhomes both for the visit and/or overnight ?

ocean terminal is a great place to park up over night. leith has lots of
bars and places to eat with regular buses into edinburgh city centre

Leith can also be a very dodgy place to walk around at night...not sure if I would risk an overnight there..especially at the weekend.

I got mugged in Leith in the mid 90's. It may have changed but I wouldnt dream of parking up there overnight. Massive drug problem up there and the coppers who came to see me said I was lucky I hadnt been stabbed. Three of them set about me at about midnight coming back from a curry house. The Royal Yacht is fantastic though. Its a crying shame it was decommissioned. It would have been awsome seeing it cruise up the Thames yesterday.
