My aunt was related through her daughters marriage to Maurice Roeves who played alongside Robbie in Tuti Fruity. Maurice and Robbie were good mates. I met Maurice twice through my aunt, and again at my aunts funeral. Maurice always said that Robbie was good at enjoying himself, he was a character, always up to mischief. He loved motors, sadly drunk to much, but was great company when he had a few. Sadly all three are gone now Maurice dying two years ago.
