Right or wrong ?

I thought the best thing about the artificial was the comment section mixed reaction indeed.

Yes some of them were quite funny. Maybe they should open sites without shared facilities now or CLs etc and allow overnighting where its normally allowed. I agreed before that it was wrong to overnight but now it seems ridiculous considering we are allowed out and people are cramming into hot spot tourist areas not to allow motorhomers to go to an isolated CL or remote parking spots.

It's a distraction thing, i.e. a distraction people can bicker about because the bigger problems right now are just too big for a lot of people to get their heads around.

Everybody ends up arguing amongst themselves about perceived 'violations' because of this virus and lockdown - particularly the 'rules' around the lockdown. 'Normality' has been f*d up for just about everybody.

So, if you can't take your frustration and bewilderment out on a mindless virus because there's no point, let's find the next best thing.

What might that be? Well, people who are highly visible and stand out from the crowd because of their mode of transport. And, more importantly, the ability of said transport to house them overnight.

And those people...

a) dare to come and park up where we live and potentially spread this nasty germ around and

b) the germ at night time is obviously far more dangerous in this type of vehicle than any other because it will sneak out of the camper vans and through the open windows of the locals' houses where it will bite them on the bum!

But my money is on the biggest reason behind most of the squabbling and 'outrage'.

c) simple jealousy and resentment caused by the restrictive lives we have all been forced to live the last few months.

Then the whole furore is muddied even further in this particular story by the possibility that the offenders are 'Irish travellers'.

This epidemic is turning out to be a bad time to be owning a campervan

Let's hope it will eventually pass and some sort of sanity returns🤞

Not for us, been parked up on a closed CL site since before the beginning of all this virus crap, and must say it's been lovely even though I've still been working . Some where along the line we'll all have to make a choice whether to be locked up for the rest of our lives or get on with our lives and make the most, IF it is as bad as they claim it won't be going anywhere soon and they can't get a vaccine for the Flu right most of the time let alone one for this.
