Fond this works well.
A large potato cut lengthwise x2.
So 4 wedges. ?
A little oil.
Make monkey oil hot and coat the wedges in the monkey.
Then gas to minimum and cook.
Checking turning the wedges every 5 mins or so.
Occasionally give the monkey a brief blast but turn down again.
Almost the real deal and with the lid closed 10 or 15 mins.
I suspect a similar result could be achieved with a camp/dutch oven but the more compact oven of the monkey is good !
