Hi Guys as some of you may know our beloved m/home was broken into and the reversing monitor was ripped off the dash and gone (twats)
And having been in touch with the maker and have a price of £202.00 plus v.a.t just for the monitor
Was just wondering your thoughts replacing your camera system or the system you have and the price , i have been on the net and can get a full system at a lot lower price than the price i have been quoted.
Also if anyone as a wiring diagram for a brigade VBV770DM it would be a help .
Thanks Guys & Girls

have a look at your local ALDI and ask them about their cordless CCTV system, it can adapt to 12v and was only £50 (approx).

Cheers Pete
I have been intouch with reaversingcameras.uk and as you say they are very helpfull unfortunately could,nt help me with the wiring colour code for my system, so it looks like a new full system is on the cards:(

Try a wireless system, a lot cheaper and no wiring to install

my Knaus came with the monitor on the dash. I moved this up to where the mirror goes (no back window = no mirror) - out of sight... I used Reversing cameras UK for another camera which linked straight to the splitter box. Have you located this - usually stuffed up under the dash and a new monitor may just plug in?

sorry mastodon
that its took so long to reply i did locate the spitter box and found that it had vid and sound input sockets so have rewired and now use an old portable dvd player as the monitor and remove when parked .

Try Amperor in Irvine. They do postal stuff. Dealt with them several times for electronic stuf. Always had good service from the.

I could never get a radio signal strong enough to be reliable from one end of the van to the other. Now have a hard wired system 100% everytime.

lots of systems on fleabay with 7" monitors for around £60 (wired systems) wireless are not really suitable for motorhomes they seldom produce a reliable signal.
