Hello all. We are Bev & Drew, from Stirling in sunny Scotland.
Originally joined around 2007, when we bought our 1st MH. House move/work commitments led us to slip off the radar for a "few" years.
Now fully mobile with our, very nearly completed, shiny, black, Ducato conversion. Took us nearly 3 years but very much usable now - yippee!
Just found out that we may be joining friends at a French motor event in September and are currently researching visiting/driving through France in our campervan.
Cheers - Bev

Welcome back!
Lots of info on here regarding touring France. The Location App has a wide range of overnighting spots in France, some official aires, some wilding, many of the latter being in attractive locations along inland waterways. https://www.campingcar-infos.com/view.php is also an excellent resource.

Thanks for welcome & info re France - have had a wee look so far.
I think our name was BevDrew last time. We joined a couple of meets - one up by Inverness - a herb nursery, if I remember & one at a campsite in Peak District.
Now organising pics of our camper build - finished pics 1st & build progress, if requested!

Welcome back. Luke 15:7

My tip for remembering to drive on the wrong side.

Wear your wrist watch on the wrong wrist. It feels wrong and acts as a prompt.

Welcome back. For France (and all of mainland Europe) the roads lead you into roundabouts so they are not a problem. What we found the most difficult was turning at junctions. so we made this up! "turn right, stay tight, turn left, stay right". Funny thing though, we never had to use it! It just comes with the driving. But carparks are the worst! That is where I cock up!

Welcome back! Mine took three years too! Almost killed me physically and mentally - but so worth it. Safe travels guys.
