Remoska is a low powered electric oven using 580w of power so suitable for use with solar power generators or on campsites with 6amp or lower hook up.

So what do users cook with it?

Mrs Moped asked is it possible to roast a chicken?

I checked it out on Amazon and the reviews are very positive so what do users here think?

It is a brilliant bit of kit albeit a little expensive given its simplicity. It is basically just a saucepan with a heating element in the lid, We have the small one which is a mere 400 watts. Not roasted a chicken in it but it almost certainly will. I think there are books available with remoska recipes in. Pretty sure it will do anything a traditional oven can just might take a bit longer. The beauty of it is its simplicity, no thermostat, heat settings, digital displays etc. We have two, one for the van and one for almost daily use in the house.
Roast potatoes, stews, scones, tartiflette, pastry, pies, loads of stuff

Don,t know if still possible but we bought ours mail order from czech republic where their made 1/3 of what lakeland where charging. We been Very pleased with ours using it at home as well as away most thing you can do in a oven you can do in it

We bought our small one direct from the Czech Republic as well, a huge saving as you say.
We have two now, large and small and we use one of them every day

We swear by ours, (I think ours is only 400W).

We cook all sorts in it from chillies, stews, roast joints, fry ups etc. etc. As Terry said, loads of recipes online. Brilliant bit of kit.
