Hi everyone, thought I,d post this info as I get asked a lot about it when people know I use this type of cooker. This cooker is brilliant for cooking everything from bread, baked spuds, whole chicken, any joint u can think of. Puddings etc etc. It uses only 450 watts, has no thermostat, is not a slow cooker, but an actual mini oven in a pan type format.
Having a Hymer, they dont usually come with an oven, bein a sunday roast type of guy this was somethin I needed. I read about it in old mag, how it was developed in the east for homes with only wires twisted together for an electricity supply. Its the same design now as it was years ago, except its now non stick, and has no movin parts.
Its not cheap, mine was £89.95, is ONLY available at Lakeland uk, but is guaranteed for life, when it wears out take back to store, and they,ll give u a new one. They are ideal for continental sites, inverters, gennies etc cos they only use 2 amps @ 240 volts. I wholeheartedly recommend this piece of kit, see Lakeland website for more details.
