Remis blind problem

I've had this issue since we go the van, I've tried WD40 and Silicone grease but ti makes nor difference, sometimes it just falls apart, but gows back together easily, often I don't close it all the way as you can't see into the van just the dash and far side of the cab.

I have compared it with the driver's side, and I cannot see any difference. There doesn't appear to be anything broken that I can see. I am assuming that a kid or a passenger unfamiliar with Remis blinds has caused the problem.

Any ideas?

This is caused when the lower side section does not slide into the top side section properly. I had the same issue and fixed it with some silicon on the narrower section.
But before applying make sure you protect the blind from the silicone or it will be stained. You don’t need much and once applied try closing the blind several times until it closes smoothly.

What do you mean by silicon Bill? as I tried silicon grease and spray, and it slides fine now, but it jams before it gets very far in as you can see, you have to get so forceful with it sometimes that it comes apart.

Your problem is that it's a window blind. @trevskoda will be along shortly to explain the benefits of Linux blinds.

Had a look again Kev, your problem was different from mine.
But from what I can see the joint between the upper and lower side is jammed against the outer frame.
I would ensure that the gap between the between the door and the frame is not to small restricting the free movement of the side panel.

Also Kev, try pushing the blind slightly towards the window when putting it back in place, that may help. Avoid pulling it towards you.

Do you mean here Bill? lower front? it feels to slide along the wire/bar okay, I'm thinking it's in the tow parts that slide together but buggered if I can see what the problem is.

You can see it jamming behind the cream outer frame at the top Kev. I don’t think it’s been fitted properly. As I said try and push it when putting it back. Put your fingers where it’s jammed and push it away from the outer frame.
