hi all. as some of you might know, my hot water bottle and i recently got engaged and we are soon to be married. i took inspiration from a friend of mine who had some rings made for him. i recalled a thread about one of this site's members making jewelery. i was soon put on the track of 'nowhereman'.
a few messages and one phone call later, i had entrusted Ian and Erna to make a one-off wedding ring along a certain theme but gave them a fairly free hand. yesterday we chugged our way upto their shop in Alston to pick it up- yes i'm over the moon with it. i can definately recommend Ian and Erna and being so close to our second home (in our van) of the lake district was a real bonus. if you're up that end of the country, drop into their little shop of treasures in a lovely little town. don't hesitate to PM me if you want any details.
