Several months ago someone posted a thread with photos of a beautiful and relatively unknown part of Spain on the coast and I think it was far South and close to Portugal. I've been searching old threads but can't find it. Can anyone remember seeing this?

El Puerto de Santa Maria is worth a visit.

Wildcamp on the carpark by the beach,past the Cádiz ferry terminal,half a mile before the Dunas campsite. Ferry into Cádiz for a visit.

Sanlucar de Barameda is 15km away a great place also

If you park in the car park next to the aire at Rota, they were moving people on when we were there in April.

We were in Sanlucar in January. We asked a local for directions to the aire. He replied that we should go to Rota.
We were knackered, after a long drive, found the big aire at Sanucar and stayed for over a week.

It was so nice, we never got to. Rota. We'll certainly give it a try next winter.

if your in sanlucar an interesting drive is up to bonanza then follow the river guadalquivier follow it for miles its really interesting then cross the riverand head forqueipo dellano. then to isla mayor then nw to villamanrique de la condesa . then sw down to matalascanas.
most of ity is national park and salt lake flats . its a good look at spain and its farming . makes a good days driving . but dont go if its been raining .
