Recall for dometec fridges

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this--If it's not perhaps Mr Admin could re-direct it--I saw this on another motorhome site (naughty boy)----

Warning that Dometic RM 7 series fridge double doors may be faulty ?

Fridge/ frezzer with manual energy selector ( MES) or automatic energy selection ( AES ) manufactured between 2004 to august 2007. These should not be used on gas prior to inspection by a dometic technician and dometiic advises closing the gas valve. Contact dometic on 01258 414595 to arrange a check up

I think this has been a long standing issue, mine was rectified back in 2007 by Dometic who sent a fitter to my home and it involves an extra bracket on the fridge unit to stop the (possible) movement of the unit against the gas feed line............. It took about 5 minutes and is a simple job for those doing it....... if you take off the bottom vent grill you will be able to see if it has been done by looking at the base of the fridge for a bracket.

Its movement which can fracture the gas supply and hence result in a gas leak.
