Really wild camping

Not a good night for seaside parking. I've just been down to Charmouth and there are large chunks of driftwood and pebbles strewn over the car park.

windy night

Ive just had my first night properly wilding at Donna Nook on the east coast. Couldnt have picked a better night..lol Heaving it down with rain and blowing a gale, my poor little Bambi van was like a rocking horse. Luckily i couldnt find my original destination at saltfleet as that is totally open to the elements and the north sea i think if i had found it i could possibly be sailing up the Humber by now. But enjoyed it all the same:)

We are having a night at the south coast tonight and if last nights wind is anything to go by we are in for a rocky one :scared: Glad you enjoyed it and kept safe ;)

Brave campers this weather sorts out the men from the boys.

what about the women? ive camped out in -18 and force 10 gales in Scotland, does that make me a man, :raofl:

No I hope you are not a man but today it is difficult to tell sometimes.

I've never been the same since watching that TV series, Lady boys.

But it makes you one tough mama!

But you had that little dog to protect you and keep you warm.

donna is a brilliant place especially at November to Xmas time when you can sit and watch the seals. Also try Horseshoe point not too far away.

Nah, he's a bloke is Kimbo. Used to work as a navvy for Wimpey. It doesn't matter what womens clothing he wears, he has hands as big as shovels and hairy arms, a dead giveaway. ;)

We went to Horseshoe point first but it was a bit too muddy coz of the rain, and having the dogs with us would have meant we would have been sleeping in a mud bath..lol
I fancy trying Moggs eye or Huttoft when the weather picks up.

It's calmed down a bit now.

The sea is still wild though and breaking over the wall by the fossil centre. Despite that it's warm and the sun is breaking through. Hopefully the next few days will not be as rough as last night and we might even get to do some fishing and get on the beach with the metal detector.
