Hi
Can anyone give me advice on how to remove the habitation door panel to access the central locking mechanism?
Thanks

A photo of the inside of the door would help, as doors differ at different years,
And the same door is probably used by other motorhome manufacturers too

Yes of course.
I have managed to remove some of the trim but think that there must be some screws securing the handle. I assume that the front plastic cover removes but am having trouble removing it.
Thanks

Difficult to tell from the photo but I should imagine that the outer part of the long door handle will split and reveal a couple of screws,

I can see the treads of the screws being but just cannot shift the handle cover.
Thanks

Hello again
Having finally removed the panel and fixed the insecure locking mechanism. I am wondering how to refit the panel.
It had been secured by double sided tape which was a nightmare to remove.
I understand that on some vans the panels are secured with Velcro and I am thinking that this could be a better option.
If anyone has a Rapido and reinstated the habitation door, I would be interested to know the manufacturers installation system as I think that my panel had been removed previously.
Thanks.
