Hi Guys and Girls,
I am toying with the idea of installing a radio in the rear of my camper connected to leisure battery.

I currently have a pure dab portable which i can use on 240v or 12 v but looking for something fitted.

Nothing mad in price but good enough for to chill listening to some tunes on the radio.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Cheers. 🍻

I just use my phone and a JBL Flip 3 Bluetooth speaker. Lots of stuff on the BBC sounds app to listen to.

Bluetooth speaker all the way. You can sit out and have your radio as well and battery life on these speakers is usually very good.

Cheers

I had thought of that when working out my build, but technology has come on a long way since built-in radios ... I use an Amazon Alexa (one with the Screen) and find it does what I want :)

Loads of sets on ebay.

👍

What’s the best Bluetooth speaker B&M have Goldman’s for £20 but are they any good?
Sonos £200+
any one for any budget recommendations?
I'm sure there must be heaps of them that people would recommend, at all different prices. Mine's a JBL Flip and it's honestly amazing for a portable, middling-priced option. It turns the tinniest phone, tablet or PC output into a really rich sound. Mine's an older version of this one and was a Christmas present from my son, or I might not have splashed out. It was cheaper back then but I wouldn't hesitate now to get another one if anything happened to mine, despite the price.

Bluetooth speaker and phone is probably the best option as already suggested, there are thousands of radio stations to choose from. As for the speaker - just google best budget Bluetooth speaker, that’ll keep you occupied for an hour or two. Good luck.

I also have a JBL flip 3. Great quality sound, waterproof, charges in no time and the battery lasts ages. I paid £60 for it and use it all the time in the garage and garden. I did buy it for watching telly on the iPad while away in the van

I think its gonna be between a jbl or wonderboom 🤔🤔🤔
