Yea she has Spanish passport. Never had the problem before I 13 years but she was very certain wormer entry had to have sticker on it .Just get 3 year rabies anywhere in the eu before you return. Get done same time as wormer.
Ours has a spanish passport. We never had any problems with no sticker over wormer. Dog is now 6 years old and been a few times a year to eu.
Thanks for all of the aboveLa Mailleray sur Seine has a nice aire on the river and a two minute walk to a vet.
Montreuil sur mer has a vet just round the corner from the aire.
Neufchatel en Bray has a vet but it's a bit of a walk from the aire. That said, I think in terms of what our old boy can do, it might be fine for your dog. The aire is very good though
If you are leaving from Dieppe, the vet at Honfleur is close to the aire, but pricey.
CheersI use the vet in Neufchatel-en-Bray and it’s a pleasant walk from the aire. But I generally book in advance and drive to it before heading off to the aire.
Was going there on the 13th , review said it was flooded on the 12th .That's surprising about La Mailleray, it's been mainly dry for weeks.
Is there somewhere near the vet to stop over at Yvetot?
Don't actually mind Honfleur aire , you know it's always going to be busy .We are in Honfleur, we come back on Wednesday next week so because of Easter and the weekend, our worming has to be on the Tuesday morning. And we wanted somewhere to stay put, and where we could have plenty to occupy us over the Easter weekend. The aire is, as ever, busy and it's not a nice aire at all; but we are on, and we've managed to get an electric hook up, so it'll do.
Nice town , enjoyWe went on the little section that's on the left as you drive in from the bridge and we had some travellers as neighbours behind us, on the rough ground outside the aire. Which isn't a problem in itself but then we realised they were hooked into the electricity bollards, and that's not right.
Anyway we've moved on to the main part of the aire now.
Vet I went to didn't even know about covering rabies entry .We were at the vet this morning, and she put a clear tape cover over the worming details. I'm happy that we established it doesn't seem to be a requirement, perhaps it's considered good practice?
Similarish experience with 2 different Belgian vets .We just checked in at pet reception at the tunnel. The staff member confirmed the rabies must have a clear sticker, the worming doesn't need one but they aren't concerned if it does, it's a way of preventing alteration.
A little different from a vet I saw in Spain who asked what date I'd like entered!
I just checked Harry's Belgian passport. He was issued with this last year, and the rabies entry is just covered in sellotape. We just checked in at pet reception at the tunnel. The staff member confirmed the rabies must have a clear sticker, the worming doesn't need one but they aren't concerned if it does, it's a way of preventing alteration.
