Quick Release on Gas Hose.

Afternoon all.
Just a quick question. Does it matter where I put my quick release in the hose? Nearer the regulator or nearer the bottle?

Can't think it matters, but just want to be sure.

Only thing I can think of would it be ok at high pressure between bottle and regulator

It's for a low pressure butane regulator and a Campingaz two burner and grill unit supplied by a Campingaz bottle

As close to the bottle as possible making sure that the FEMALE part of the connector is the part left connected to the bottle feed as this has the cut off valve.

This, on E Bay and other places ideal for interchanging barbis .patio heaters gas lanterns etc.

Sorry I used them on my carpet cleaning machine and they leek. ok for external barb q's but not for long term in van . I think

would airhose couplings work well enough ?

Here is my quick release for LPG quick switch from Butane to Propane too which ever gas you have available, with the correct regulator of course,
shown is my shed set up I have one in my van from the refillables for the Barbi etc.
