I arrived here at about 4pm yesterday and about four vans were already on site. Although we'd never met it was like meeting old friends, as we all shared an interest in wild camping. By about 7pm more had turned up and we ended up in the pub for the evening which had good food at reasonable prices. We thought Pink had turned up when we saw a girl with bright pink hair, but when she did turn up later she is actually very normal and very friendly.
Phil looks a lot younger than in his photograph on here and I would never have recognised him, whereas Kimbowbill was instantly recognisable...shy, quiet, retiring and nervous....NOT!!!
If you are nervous about attending one of these meets with a load of strangers, don't be, because you will find a warm welcome whatever your background and whatever vehicle you drive.
