Does any one no of a good pub for a meal ,and a over night stop.Around the winchester area.

I remebered a post on another site for a pub at Cheriton.
Did a search on 'Alta Vista" on,'Cheriton' +pub +motorhome, and it came up with a thread naming The Flower Pots at Cheriton, which is on/off the A272. Has a flat camping area behind the pub and it was £3 a night.
You could always stop at the Percy Hobbs right alongside the Morn Hill CC site and park up on the site access road as I think the site has closed for the season. Not being a member I can't check but I'm sure a CC member will be along shortly.
