Problem with powerflow water pump

Hi Gents and ladies time to pick the combined brains on the forum my friend has got a swift royale van and the water pump has stopped working over the weekend, been to look at it tonight and tested the 12v feed to it all fine until testing the power out of the pressure switch there is no power out of the switch. I hard wired the switch and the pump ran fine so my question is has anyone took a pressure switch apart or is it not worth it and send him to buy a new pump.

What make is the pump, most of them you can get a new pressure switch, it is worth taking the switch apart as it is only a microswitch and it could just be stuck closed.
