Hi, Does anyone know anything about Truma heaters ? Mine will not start, cannot hear any "clicking " noises would it be the ignition unit or can i test for a feed voltage anywhere?.

Lots of different Truma heaters out there, whats the make and model and year of the heater :)

The common heater is the S 3002 - diagram here Truma

There is a box that holds two batteries on this fire down below the front cover. BE CAREFULL how you press the tag at the side to release it. I have broken two. They press in towards the box. They do not cost the earth to replace thank god.

If these batteries have gone flat then there will be no spark.

Indeed: 2AA batteries will do it. They are really hidden under the cover. It could also be there is a false ignition towards the mass. Wrap the whole with tape before re-installing it.
