Practical Motorhome-Right or Wrong?

Just been browsing April edition. .............One of the articles said about cleaning out the water system with
Truma's Aquastar then goes on to say never use bleach or Miltons as you will damage your stainless steel.
Well my Swift Bessacarr manual TELLS me TO use Miltons ?

Milton can have an adverse effect on stainless steel but it depends on the concentration. If you stick to the recommended mix and then flush the system afterwards with clean water then you have nothing to worry about.

Have been using Milton for years, so as Maingate has pointed out, the right mix and there's no issues.
Have a slight exception once a year on this van, to put white wine vinegar mix into the Water Heater for de-scale as recommended by Webasto (only to deal with the boiler contents). Then a darn good flush, treat with Milton on the whole system and flush again. Do this once a year and have no problems at all, end of Feb and will be ready to roll.
