Our 2005 motorhome still has two of the three original Reich Keramik taps. They are completely plastic and the ceramic cartridges appear to be unusually riveted in, so have to replace the whole tap when they leak it seems. I guess that these taps were an early version as later ones seem quite normal with the screw in collar to hold the cartridge in place.
The basin tap had been replaced before we got the MH a few years ago but expect that tap normally gets the most use. The sink tap cartridge is starting to leak but is still okay for now though do have a replacement tap in mind, but the shower tap is fine. Just down to natural usage wear of each I guess?
But replacements can be £38 - £65 for a poxy plastic tap when you can get a decent metal household tap for a fraction of the price. But would need to be able to fit the micro switch into the lever for the pump!
Well I can moan about it! 😥

Micro switches are a PITA. Buy a pressure pump, as Steve suggests, and change your taps to normal ones.

you can get an inline pressure switch ,can go almost anywhere on the system ,and will operate with whatever pump and taps you have 20-30 quid https://seamarknunn.com/acatalog/wh...MI-qitm4bd8QIVGs93Ch11cAHnEAYYBiABEgLYaPD_BwE
FWIW, we had one of those in the trailer caravan we had before upgrading to a motorhome. It was a right PITA as it was so sensitive to voltage and we had to adjust it every time we went from EHU to 'off-grid' or vice versa. Sometimes, we had to adjust it when off EHU as the battery voltage dropped. The motorhome has an onboard pump with integrated pressure switch and is much more reliable.
