Hi all
Just been given an Avtex STH1000 TV aerial. I notice that you can power it from power over the antenna if used with a Avtex TV.
I wondered if anyone knows of any other suitable TVs (other than Avtex which are expensive) that provide the power out?
I have seen a TV on ebay (16" 12 Volt HD Digital Ultra slim LED TV DVD Caravan, Boat, Marine, HGV 24 V 12V | eBay) but it doesn't have the power option and I would rather have this so I don't need to plug something else in to make the aerial work
Any advice appreciated
Richard

Hi Richard.

The telly you`ve given the link for doesn`t mention a " Power Out " function in the Main Features on the item.

It might be easier to Contact The Seller and ask.

On Amazon one of the reviews mentions " it definitely needs the booster power " did you get the cigarette socket adapter with it ?

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic reception! 7 May 2012

Bought this for my motorhome with an Akura 16" LED freeview 12 volt TV. Everything worked perfectly in an area in the Scottish Highlands with tress all around. As good a reception as at home. It definitely needs the booster powered from your cigarette lighter. It even worked after the suction pad failed and the arial ended up lying on the ground.
Forget mobile satellite dishes and multi-directional built in arials. This one is the business.

Thanks all - have managed to get a cheap Avtex TV that will power the aerial (£100) so all sorted...
