Power Steering hose for 1996 Peugeot Boxer. Where?

Our 1996 Swift Kontiki on a Peugeot boxer is in the garage as the Power steering has been groaning. I suspected a pump but it seems the high pressure hose model 4020 LW is leaking so this may be the problem.

The garage are having trouble sourcing one. Peugeot do not have them anymore.

We are finding this more and more now. Just cant get the bits.

Any suggestions where I might find one? The garage are still looking into it but thought I would ask on here.

Just ask a local hydraulic specialist to make you a braided flexible hose.

Easiest and most simple solution :)

Or you could try another (very large) motorhome forum where a wonderful chap has offered a possible solution. :wave:

Dont worry I will! It happens a lot now. You would think our van was a classic vehicle or something. its only 17 years old.

I might add that I posted the same thread on FACTS at the same time so victory for the wildys on this one!

How did we cope before the internet?
