Power management System Not Working

Hello guys,

I was looking for some help on my 1996 swift kontiki.

I have a charge/fusebox in the wardrobe - and it is only working the 12volt.
I cant get the 240volt plugs, water heater, fride etc.. to work.
Its made by plug-in-sytems and the box is riveted together as if they dont want you to go inthe box.

Electric power is going in and red light is on (but not the 12volt charger switch).

Ive played with the 4 trip switches - no luck

Could it be that the main trip switch can be damaged or will i find another fuse in the riveted box?

any help would be great.

Hi Craig

If the power coming into the van goes to a main box and then goes up to your power management unit, sound like you have a problem with a circuit breaker. Do you have a multi meter?? If you do you'd could check that you have 240v coming into the van, and then make sure that you have a 24ov out put from the top of your curcuit breakers. It sound like it is a problem with the main earth leakage curcuit breaker....

Thanks Andy for your help.

In the end, the wire/connector on the outside of the van had melted - just where you connect your lead.

this means that the trip switch never worked when the wife overloaded the internal plug socket with a hairdryer - whilst the blow heating was on.

I replaced the trip switch and repaired the wire/blue connector.

regards

Craig
