I managed a short trip to Wales at last ( the weather allowed it!!) and I was very pleased to find that the car parks from the Wylan Valley to Welshpool ( Powys council I think) allow overnight stops in the car parks. Free for small vans and a charge for large ones. How nice to feel welcome at last and it encouraged me to stay in the area longer.
I have written to Powys council to thank and commend them.
Please remember to do the same. People are quick to moan but often slow to thank.

Powys Council have done this for a while. You can even park overnight in Hay on Wye, although I'd avoid Festival time when it's difficult to even drive through.:rolleyes2:
