New addition to our Motorhome kit for this year - The Cobb Cobb GB - Cobb Premier Set 5. After struggling on my knees trying to cook and light a cheap BBQ we invested in this beautiful piece of kit and because it remains cold to the outside touch you can place it on your camping table and cook at a decent height. It also comes with a handy carry bag so that you can take it along with you to the beach and start to cook almost immediately no need to wait for ages on it getting to the right temperature and it doubles as a mini fire pit to keep you warm after you have finished cooking.

I have one, although not the premiere version.

Fantastic bit of kit. I've cooked a roast on mine before including joint, veg, roast tatties and yorkies.

I use the Cobblestones with mine.

We have one but tend to use it mainly at home as a smoker. It's first ever outing was to cook roast chicken for 4 which it did well. We did buy one bag of the special briquets but they didn't make enough difference to justify the extra cost so we went back to normal ones.

I use the cobblestones they sell with the BBQ's but they are not the cheapest option but they are easy to transport

Sold ours last year and bought a Dutch BBQ instead. All takes apart for cleaning in the dishwasher when you get back. Uses charcoal instead of bricketts and gets very hot. Meat is really sizzled. A lot depends what you want to cook. I found with ours that it was not the easiest bit of kit to get clean. We had a skillet for ours and they don't like dish washers it seems to do something to the surface. The old bricketts were better and you could get them going very quickly. Not impressed with the new ones and quality varies with some just getting warm. Great idea and I think thats what sells them. They are ok for sausages and burgers but not a good steak they just don't get hot enough.

Interesting review of the Cobb BBQ, they gave it a one star rating. The reviewer is certainly well named!

I have one not used it yet, note to self dig out of garage and try it.

When you say garage you really mean camping store don't you.

I understand go out doors have to ring you occasionally for more stock.
Is there a name for a collector of camping paraphernalia?
