Hi, Its actually called Minas de Sao Domingo. Last time I was there (2009) we were asked to move off on the Saturday as they were having a regatta, but we could come back on the Sunday.

Great free shower block in centre of village. Water supply on outside wall of block. Attendant said it was OK to empty cassette in toilet section.

It was new when I was there a couple of years ago. Wonder if has been neglected in the normal Portuguese way and is now falling down:lol-053:

was there in may 2006 stayed 5 night did some fishing caught 6 carp all over 4 pounds
the biggist 7 pound 6oz ,is the white sand beach still there and the bar with big screen t.v

We just spent Easter here lovely place we go every year on our way home... nice swimming in the lake as well.Cafe at the beach tad more expensive as bars in the village.Showers still fine and wifi next to school you can also pick it up in car park.. There is a lot of parking at the old factory site behind the village as well.Bread van came every morning.
