Portobello toilet

Councillors complaining about the many visitors to Portobello peeing and sheeiting al fresco .
Quite refreshing, no motorhomes involved

Maybe similar problem at Fisherrow harbour.
The councillor I contacted was unpleasantly unhelpful.
At Fisherrow limited toilets, and with the Fish and Chip van, the bins overflow often with the help of the local seagulls

Don't go there any more .
But , soon as sun appears, both places get rammed . Very few motorhomes at Portobello presume same at Fisherrow?
Just proves the point that human waste at beaches is , mostly , not from motorhomes

It's a long time since we overnighted at Portobello but it was our regular overnight on the way North or South. Never saw any bother with the motorhomes overnighting. The worst aspect was Karaoke night at the Pub a few yards away. Whatever talents the Scots have, singing is not one of them.

In later times I got my revenge on the Council by overnighting in the Haddington Council car park instead. On a Saturday night it was even better than Portobello. 24 hour toilet, fish and chips and short walk to supermarket.

Cropleys bar . Long gone now .
Was replaced by a beach cafe/bar (outside singers) . Think that has shut too .
