I've stayed overnight in the Brittany Ferries check in lanes at Poole several times and never been charged. I think this may have been because I haven't travelled this route in peak holiday times.

Alongside the model boating lake, just outside the park in Whitecliff Rd. Approach by Orchard Avenue as your van won't get under the small railway bridge.

Keep to the railway end out of view of the houses, done this many times in the past, you're 5-10mins from the ferry, depending on traffic.

No charge last night, but access blocked by containers until 2100 for security reasons. When this happens, you can call PHC security on a number posted on the kiosk immediately before the entrance.

there is a good shower available in the car park and a toilet for waste and a cafe for bacon butties as well....

There's also parking on Willis Way,just off Holes Bay rd,close to McDonalds,KFC,Pets at Home and 1 minute walk to the track beside the harbour if dog walks needed or cycle into town in ten minutes. There's been a caravan parked there for several months,and trucks sometimes overnight there.
