POI updates

It seems ages since we had POI updates, has this function stopped?

Didn't know we ever did, I thought they auto updated when pois were added.

Last update was in January, I have been waiting for the next update too.

I loved the map we used to used where you were able to see yourself on it and guide yourself to the poi. Is there any way to be able to do that

Not sure which you refer to, but it sounds like my early Tomtom one V4, I could see my POIs as I approached them, same on Maps.me, not sure if Organic Maps will do the same

Me too I haven’t used it since it was changed all them years back, I did ask Phil about it many years ago and he did mention that he might add the blue dot thing that seems to be on most apps that use maps, but it never did happen

Yes it was great as you could see exactly where you were and how to guide yourself to the spot. Some times some of the spots were hard to see where they were but either the blue spit it was just so easy

Using iGo I still have little W icons on the map, but it needs special icon files I made, and a bit of tweaking of the ..kml file to make them show
