POI Downloads & Maps.ME

Now that Maps.ME has started charging, many have switched to Organic maps, which seem identical, but are free.

The good news is that the POIs for Maps.ME are compatible with Organic maps.

Ty. I've been a committed maps.me user for years ... so many pins. Paid for this year as had pins in for this trip. Just trying Organic. Will see if I can export my pins

I managed to do so. Bit of faffing around, 'though. Find out where they are stored, copy them somewhere else and then import them from there into Organic.

I was an original.m.me user when the Russians owned it paid for lifetime usage then it had a few new owners making it more unusable each update til last year when although I still have it I use and update organic maps for my personal POIs now, but copy the CoOrds into Google maps for guidance.
