The car park at Crosby Beach, where the Anthony Gormley statues in the stand start is clearly marked as no overnight camping.
There is now a Toilet Block which costs 40p to use. Google Maps

The car park is modestly priced at £3.80 for the day so you could take your Van there but would not recommend camping overnight as 1) It is not allowed 2 ) Even if you manage to you will find the car park unusually busy late at night.

Thanks for the information.

The OU location is on Harbord Road and is a small unrestricted area.

The car park used to be in the POIs but was removed once it became a pay and display with overnight parking restrictions.

Says

Screenshot 2019-04-30 at 18.50.09.png Says No description and as CU means car park urban then that is where the confusion lies
That is how it is displaying on the app on a chromebook anyway
Thanks

Have a look at the online POI Map and you'll see it's an Other Urban.

As you reported you are having issues with the app ...

It appears to me that we're talking about two different places - the CU is at Crosby Beach North, whereas the OU referred to by POI Admin is further south, located as he said at Harbord Road
