Take a Cup and a piece of cling film. Place the cling film over the Cup and make an indentation.

Break an Egg into the cling film and seal it in by twisting the cling film.

Drop it into a Pan of boiling water and cook. Remove when ready.

Voila, Poached Eggs without all the washing up of Pans.

Ulster folk just crack a raw egg into mouth and swollow, tuff as nails here.:lol-053:

Great idea, Yep I’m going to try that !,,

Oh & Zombies DONT even bother to crack the eggs,,We just eat the chicken & save time.

I do mine like that all the time it’s so easy and as you say without all the washing up of pans!

There is a silicon plastic thingy which i bought does the same thing, crack the egg into it and it floats on top of boiling water in the s/pan,think there a pound in one of the el cheapo shops.

SWMBO likes poached eggs. Suggested this and she said sounds good, but involves cling film.

She doesn't get on well with cling film lol.

I cannot claim any credit for the idea. It was actually our 18 year old Grandson who dreamed up the idea, I don't think he copied it from elsewhere.

put a little cooking oil or butter in the cling film 1st and wipe it around,

We read about this some time ago and it works great...
try some finely sliced red chilli in moderation if you like spicy before you 'seal with a twist'

Tbh I thought it was one of those things people knew. I use a mortar when I do them. Best part is you can do more than one in the pan and not messing or tainting with vinegar to stop splitting

Channa

I like Eggs, Eat FAR FAR to many in most ways you can imagine cooking them,
Great versatile accompaniment or Stand alone Snack.
In fact I have just made my Boiled Eggs for use later, although One seamed to make it into a sandwich for now -
