My trusty old Transit is up for sale. It's a transit 2.4L Turbo diesel, rear wheel drive 4 berth coach built. 1991 with 94000 miles genuine. I have full service history including original pre -delivery inspection, all previous MOTs etc. she was owned for 19 and a half years by the original owners. The next owner had her for only 1 year and only did 400 miles. Then 'twas me.
MOT until 28th April 2013, Tax until August 2013. Optional extras fitted include:
Air suspension, rear steadies, roof rack and ladder, wind out awning (Fiamma), 4 forward facing seat belts (including driver), large modern top box, 100litre on board fresh water tank, 80 litre waste water tank, combi hot water heater, blown air heating, 3 way fridge, swivel passenger seat, central dinette, full cooker and hob with seperate grill and lots of worktop, cassette toilet and shower.
Recently added 100w solar panel including top of the range dual battery regulator with remote meter, 1000w inverter which happily runs a microwave (included), reversing camera, 2 leisure batteries, a brand new alarm and IPad compatable CD radio.
Vehicle drives well and was used regularly until I had a knee replacement. I've since retired and bought a new van.
Itvwill be sold with propane bottle, toilet chemicals and EHU cable if wanted. Bring your own cutlery/crockery and food and you can wild camp on the way home.
I enjoyed this vehicle so much I insisted that my new vehicle should be the same (Transit rear wheel drive) but I needed something bigger so I can full time from this time next year.
This is a very genuine vehicle and looks lovely for its age.

I recently put the van into the garage and told them I was selling it to a friend and asked them to check it over as I didn't want to be embarrassed if I bumped into them at a later meet. I told them to do a pre MOT type check and to check the brakes etc. I said to do any work upto £200 but to phone me if more was required. When I picked it up 3 days later they only charged me £30 because they could find nothing wrong.y
