Places to stay near to Holyhead ferry terminal?

Where is the best spot to park up at Holyhead prior to catching the ferry to Ireland?

When we cross to Ireland in a couple of weeks time, our ferry departs at 2.40 in the morning and we need somewhere to park up for a few hours so we can get a bit of sleep prior to our journey.

When we went to Ireland from Holyhead we stayed in the carpark right by the ferry terminal and there was no problems at all although it was a couple of years ago now

Hi Sue,
we stay at the car park sometimes, never had a problem, however another nicer place, go throuogh the town and follow the signs for the country park (sorry name escapes me) there is a whole stretch of road there with toilets, beautiful view and others often stay. enjoy
