Hi.
Anyone know of a decent spot to stop near here? It's a long way down to the Aires and campsites in the main valleys. Map shows a number of car parks below the village but not sure if these are possible for overnight as it seems to be national park area.

Presently at Porto Covo, anyone around?

Can't help with the overnighting, sorry, but is your ship parked at Whalley ?

Hi
Not much help I am afraid, went there last year in a car, not sure if overnight parking at village is allowed. Certainly did not spot anything, and we are always on the lookout! Did a google earth view and cannot see any signs forbidding it? Why not visit, plan to stay in the carpark but have a backup planned? There is a tourist information place in the village. Might find a nearby village has a carpark layby you can use, or Olivera do Hospital town or Arganil should have a spot. The village itself was quite isolated and we went on winding mountain roads, but I think the portuguese who took us had programmed their satnav wrongly! Lovely village to visit though!

Monsaraz

Yes we are here, at the aire. Look for the vsn with a scooter

Hi *****. It was good to meet you. Took your recommendation for a stop at Monsaraz, what a cracking little aire it is too! Pretty warm here but got a nice balcony in the breeze under the trees in the corner...terrific!

Whaley?

Nope, more of a wally...naughty left turn in Seville in front of helpful policeman who kindly escorted us out of harms way...a kindness...or something in the post?...yet to be seen!
