We are thinking of trading in our lovely Autocruise Stargazer for a Pilote Galaxy 75. Many reasons have prompted this decision including needing more storage space for chairs, tables etc. more seatbelts for our grandchildren and we also fancy a drop down bed.

Can anyone give us any advice on owning a Pilote Galaxy please.

Why not give Lawrence or Andy a ring and pick their brains, 01-580-883060, they will be happy to.

I have a Pilot Galaxy 12 years old now and out of the 6 motorhome,s i have had its been the best one so far.

Hi , I agree with Kenspain, we had a galaxy 27, 3 berth for over 7 years best m/h we had up til now previously owned 5 others from homebuilt commer , vw devon, sundance, compass calypso, trigano tribute, also hired 3 others before that, we chose (Piglet) for the very reasons that you are thinking of . As I hate having chairs wedges wind break barbeque in the m/h , all stored outside in various lockers . Now we own (as just retired spent pension) Autocruise Starfire 6 mtr 2 berth suits us fine but have had to put a back box on the bike rack to house all of those items . Only reason I changed was due to the width of the vehicle a bit wide for some narrower roads ( got clouted when down in the mountains in france nearly pushed off the edge , severe drop on the drivers side .)Dont let this put you off!!! Many thanks to all for some positive responses. It's always such a gamble changing a camper especially when we have had so much fun and some great experiences in our vans.

We will try to see as many vans as possible although there doesn't seem to be that many around. Will probably go to the motorhome show at Broadlands in Romsey in April as it's just up the road from us.
