Took these shots whilst in Brora.
lovely place to visit with a 2 mile long wonderful beech.
You can walk from the C&MC site along the beech into Brora 1.5 miles away.
For those that like golf there’s a links course also.

Found this Lochan on the map and we walked up to it on a warm day.
I headed up to a small hill just above the Lochan to be confronted by a herd of deer. By the time I got my phone out today take a shot they were well away.
You can see them in the first photo.

The railway line runs under a tight bridge giving access to the campsite.

How beautiful...mist and drizzle here for the foreseeable so this cheered me up no end! Thankyou. 😌

Great photos Fisherman! We stayed at the site in Brora a few years back and took in a visit to Dunrobbin Castle, coinciding with the free falconry display which was truly amazing. Didn't explore any areas you've photographed so I've bookmarked a return in the very near future. Fond memories of that walk into town along the beach. Dodging the golf balls and cows on the course - first time we'd ever seen electric fences around greens! Then swooped on by the nesting Terns. Happy days!

Very often have a night or two on the CAMC site there and thoroughly enjoy it when making our way to the top.

Seen many caravans damaged by their drivers getting the turning onto the bridge wrong and normally going way too fast.

One in particular spring to mind that was hurtling up the access road from the A9 who was obviously panicking to get there.

I tried to slow him down but he just glared at me and kept going.

Next thing was that horrible scraping noise you get as the side panels scraped along the bridge wall.

Later i saw him on the site and whilst the damage was not catastrophic it was bad enough to warrant a large insurance claim.

I asked him why he didn`t slow down when i tried to warn him but he said he didn`t know who i was and i might having been trying to mug him so he sped up.

You`ve got to wonder what goes through some peoples minds.

This thread has brought it all back :ROFLMAO: thank you Fisherman (y)

Yes the bridge was tight particularly when entering as you had to turn into it.
But it's just a matter of taking your time and using your mirrors.
