I need to replace my Starter Battery on my Campervan (2014), but have found that the existing Battery is a Flamm 12V 95Ah 680A 680 L5, but have been unable to find a direct replacement. The Peugeot Dealer doesn't want to help as I want to fit the new one myself. I have also found (from an old Thread), that Peugeot fitted the above type in error and it should have been a 950AH model.
Anyway advice from anyone who has come across this problem and knows what type I should buy and fit I would be gratefully received. Thanks

Put your registration number into the Alpha batteries website. That should give you a selection of suitable replacements. There is a discount for full WC members which you should qualify for.
Many on here, including myself, find them reliable and quick to deliver with good support.

There where indeed type types of battery fitted to x250/290 vans, the smaller battery will work quite fine for most people as you have undoubtedly found, neither where 950ah, one that size would weigh a considerable amount.

He is talking starter battery and will be referring to Cold Cranking Amps , or CCA if you prefer.

The original post is
... the existing Battery is a Flamm 12V 95Ah 680A 680 L5, ... and it should have been a 950AH model.

which leads me to believe he thinks he needs " 950 Ah 680 CCA." Which, of course, he will not find. !

This leads me to infer that his battery knowledge is limited.

I think his best bet is to talk to suppliers but ensure he gets " 95 or more Ah & 680 or more CCA."

I think he just worded wrong and got a little mixed up. Maybe due to it being his first post. But hay ho there you go.
