I believe you can now obtain passports for family pets,however, I've been told that you wll have to pay around £200 to get one and you must apply 6 months in advance of your trip abroad .

I donno about the cost. I would have replied quicker

Hi cost us £150 that included the chip... You can go abroad as soon as you get the passport eg blood samples back but you wont be able to get back in until the 6 months is up.We went over last March and the 6 months was up in May just kept out fingers crossed that we didnt need to come home before then.On the way back 24hrs before boarding the train the vet charged us 52 euros for to have a worm tablet and put some tick treatment on her a bit of a rip off really.Then they scanned her chip at the Euro pet control no problem .

think it is one for a lifetime lenny. but the passport for humans is set to get really expensive and that is only for 10yrs.
personally think it is a good investment for jack as you only need to think of how lonely he'd be without you, also how much does it cost for kennels nowadays?
