Had a great day today. We're in a medieval village near Santander and suddenly this afternoon a pensioners party started up outside the village hall and they were playing Spanish music and salsa music. I went to explore what was going on and got invited to the party. They were all eating paella, drinking wine and dancing. What a ball we had. Started at 3pm and finished at 8pm but they were all so friendly and let us join in. The Spanish seem to have great respect for their elders.
