Hi everyone
Just back from 6 weeks touring France, had a lovely time and found some lovely 'wild' sites as well as some superb aires and a few good sites.
Must mention Le Trois Chaupan at La Bugue in the Dordogne
cycling distance to the town alongside the river, next to an Aquarium and a 'turn of the century' village. Special rates for campers, we paid 9 euros per night with no leccy, but loads of hot water and clean facilities.
Anyway, we are house sitting in Laurenskirk next month and will take the camper. From S. Lincs (where we live) to Laurenskirk is just over 400 miles and Penrith is exactly half way.
Please can anyone recommend a good spot near the M6 at or near Penrith?
