Off to Burnley this weekend to visit old friends, so hoping to get away early evening Friday and find a sleepyspot on the Pendle Hills prior to our arrival on Saturday.

Off to Burnley this weekend to visit old friends, so hoping to get away early evening Friday and find a sleepyspot on the Pendle Hills prior to our arrival on Saturday.

Just returned form a great weekend in Lancashire, did,nt enjoy the drive down on Friday evening in gale force side winds,so headed straight for the low lying ground of Burnley and stayed outside a friends pub in the town centre (Hic/Hic).Saturday we made our way up into the Pendle hills and stayed just North of Sabden on a secluded car park belonging to a ski slope centre, great views and great walking country and a restaurant next door which we did,nt bother with, (home made broth did the trick).

A quiet night with no problems
