Pasty Tax U-turn

Hot air tax on MP's

They could always harness the load of hot air talked by MP's as a green dividend;)

If they stop ALL imports of tobacco and ciggies. I.e. Make the allowance that a person can bring into the country from across the chanel NIL. That will raise more than enough money to cover their shortfall.:mad:
I am going to hide in my fall out bunker now.:D

they will find it from somewhere, but it wont affect them, that is for sure, get em out i say, bring in the raving loony party, not much difference mind :raofl:

I'm sure they will find another way to keep squeezing until our eyes pop out.

But don't give them any ideas, one of their spies is probably monitoring the site.

If they stop all imports of tobacco then the country will go bust financially and boom through every smoker going through the roof.

As we realistically don't grow any tobacco in the UK, ALL tobacco is imported.

But I know what you mean!!

But in the long run the NHS could divert monies from cancer to obesity as all the new non-smokers would probably eat more.

But it's only for fresh out of the oven pasties, those that are kept hot or reheated will still attract the VAT

And therein lies the answer to the question! They will make up the shortfall in court costs from all the cases of "was it fresh or re-heated" that will inevitably arise - and the lawyers will be earning squillions and therefore paying extra tax - job done :lol-053:

I think I heard they where going to charge a toilet tax, 20% for a P and 25 for a number 2.
How long can you hold it for, as I'm getting older it will cost me a fortune.

:wacko::wacko::lol-049:
