fancied something Danish pastry-ish. cut some 4x3'' pieces out of ready made puff pastry, put a layer of mincemeat on it , apple pie filling on top of that, couple of dobs of custard , put a top on , sealed the edges , cut feathered slits then spread a bit of Dawn's marmalade over the top and covered that with flaked almonds
wasn't a Danish pastry , but it was pretty good !
